Mike Will is behind the instrumental, possibly the most critical dimension of the song. The bass pulsates like the heart of Galactus and that croaking synth sounds like some distorted sample from an old Budweiser commercial. It’s easy to call this trap music because of the song’s content and artists, but this is actually something far more perplexing. The song is slightly #based, especially the chorus, plus Pharrell sounds like T.I. and Casino sounds like 2 Chainz and Shawty Lo. There’s no name for this. Future and Mike Will have done it again.
