Ahhhhhh… the sight of gray hairs, wrinkles multiplying, sagging skin, and the works are all included in the aging process package. Crazy, right? However, one can embrace the fact of growing older and do so gracefully. And as an added bonus, with age comes wisdom. Cameron Diaz is known for her bubbly personality, vibrant skin, overall healthy eating habits and style.

In the June/July 2016 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the age defying actress dropped a few gems when addressing age- appropriate dressing:

“Everybody’s age is different and by that I mean that even when you’re a certain age, it’s all a matter of how you present yourself, how old your spirit is, and where you are in your life. Some 50 year olds are still 35. It’s about expression and what they can pull off.”

The “Head Above Water” actress went a step further to share her views on getting older and acknowledging this stage in her life:

“That as you get older your body changes in so many little ways. It doesn’t react the same way it used to I don’t get the results that I used to as easily as I once did…In part that’s what my new book, The Longevity Book, is about. But just like everyone else, I’m more and less disciplined at various times based on what’s going on in my life.”

There you have it! It’s all about your state of mind and how you take care of yourself. Women should accept themselves, live freely, and disregard the beauty standards imposed by today’s society.
