With the focal point being the local streetwear shop, Dope shouts out to his native Queens borough and adds himself to the growing movement to “revitalize” the East Coast. Be ready for his upcoming, New York New York, ready to set sails this spring.

Queens native Bryant Dope made a bit of noise last year with his visual for “Queens Kids.” Following in the vein of true school Golden Era rap, he’s helping to bring it back for the borough and for the city with this joint “QB,” produced by Hannibal King.

Not only is Dope getting into his New York sound, he’s collaborating with one of the biggest purveyors of that new movement, Joey Bada$$, on his upcoming tape, New New York.

New Music: Main Attraktionz- “Cloudy Body”

In preporation for Bossalinis & Fooliyones, Main Attraktionz has dropped two new cuts from the forthcoming album. Last month they released “Do it for the Bay“, and this week they’re back again with “Cloudy Body“. Seeing as Squadda Bambino and Mondre Man have really taken the “cloud rap” meme to a new level, the title of their new track seems fitting. Plus, the single serves as a precursor to the group’s upcoming CMJ appearances, where they’ll be playing the Young One and Mishka parties on October 17th and 18th, respectively.

New Video: Bryant Dope – Queens Kids

Earlier this week Bryant Dope dropped a dope video to his track, “Queens Kids.” No flashiness here, just a story about an emcee kicking it with his boys. The Queens-bred emcee showcases some smooth bars on this joint, and the New York connection never hurts.
