Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Brooklyn emcee Boss Carrot debuts his latest effort Wisdoms -an ode to “all the Queens.” Tapping into his more sentimental side, Carrot opens up about his current romance with an “African Queen” over this Goldenbeets production. Complemented by the soulful Khalil, Carrot’s lyrical delivery is light and refreshing as he praises his lady for her knowledge of self and down-to-earth nature. Whomever this mystery lady is,  I know, she’s probably somewhere blushing with this song on repeat.

Carrot’s forthcoming project Code Orange is slated to be released later this year. But in the meantime, vibe out to Wisdoms below.
