Many of you may not yet be hip to Dallas rapper Yella Beezy; many more probably became aware of the rising star due to a recent shooting (of which he is thankfully recovering). Nonetheless, Yella Beezy continues to move forward via a remix to his current hit single “That’s On Me,” which now features assistance from big names 2 Chainz, T.I., Rich The Kid, Jeezy and Boosie. Fellow Texas peer Trapboy Freddy also jumps on the posse cut, which is sure to get plenty of spins in the coming months.

Last week we touched base with Baby Jesus on his new visual, which was shot inside legendary rapper, Lil Boosie‘s mansion. Yesterday the pair seems to have gotten more work in as they dropped off a new remix of “Baby Jesus,” which features Lil Boosie on the second verse.

With a new project slated to drop off early summer 2016, its evident the North Carolina rapper is poised to make a name for himself and as you can see, the dude can spit. God’s Work is a project that will be full of surprises as well as the unique sound he has brought to the scene since his abrupt arrival. Baby Jesus is someone you want to keep an eye on and is a sure bet to make contributions to your playlist this calendar year. The youngest in charge, Baby Jesus, is becoming one of the youngest and most influential in the Greater Charlotte area.With style that matches no one in his age bracket and the sense to piece together his career at a more accelerated rate than those of his close elder, the phenom is more than someone you should look for. He’s a good investment.

While Baby Jesus’ career is still in the early stages, its becoming evermore apparent why he has been labeled as the next up from Charlotte. His unique flow, delivery, and unmatched work ethic have paid dividends thus far with no signs of slowing up. It has even been reported previously that Boosie has taken a strong interest into signing and developing Baby Jesus himself, which would be a dope idea considering Boosie’s great career thus far. Only time will tell if Baby Jesus has what it takes to make himself known nationwide but for now, lets it back and enjoy the new music.

Boosie announced that he has been diagnosed with kidney cancer via Instagram according to TMZ.

“I need all my fans to pray for me. Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys. Prayer is power, that’s why I’m letting the world know prayfaboosie.” posted the rapper. The caption is no longer up.

The Louisiana representative certainly has the streets on his side supporting his movement, especially fans that followed the trapper from day one. For this reason, it is clear why Boosie decided to come back even harder with the music, appreciating the loyalty and respect shown in every direction, since his release.

Of course it is such happenings and life experiences that bring authenticity to the emcees lyrics as he never fails to keep it real; reaching out to the people and defining the essence of struggle. Labeling this year ‘the greatest time of his life’; paves a way for future success that awaits the Show The World artist in the time ahead. This comes after detailing the intensity and pain behind prison life, which has left Boosie even more focused and ‘industry ready’ as he prepares major joints and remains steady on his grind:

“Right now with Trill, basically we focused on me. I have my own thing going with Bad Azz Music Syndicate, my label, so we finna mass product the streets. Right now, I’m Trill’s focused artist. I’m hearing that after this album. I’m ready. Once I drop the album, my label, Bad Azz Music Syndicate, we just gonna flood the streets with music, man.”

This fresh new mind-set not only maximizes Boosie’s industry presence, but is also the reason behind a change of title, as he drops the famous ‘Lil’ for a reason only he can tell: “I don’t have lil problems, shit. Damn, Boosie Badazz. Put a stamp on that, damn. I run a whole record label, I’m a whole entrepreneur.”

It seems the southern emcee won’t be resting anytime soon as this go-getter attitude proves he is ready for the ‘new industry’ and well, simply getting them bandz:

This song is older than most and the only track on this list from 2013. Why? It’s surprising how many people still haven’t heard it yet. It’s smooth, infectious and the perfect song to ride into any new year with.

2. Chimes (Remix) – Mohawke Hudson Ft. Pusha T, Future, French Montana & Travi$ Scott
It’s often a real treat when hip-hop and techno based beats link up, and Chimes (Remix) is no exception. Best remix of 2014?

3. Turn Down For What (Remix) – DJ Snake Ft. Lil Jon, Juicy J, 2 Chainz & French Montana
Even though the official remix took almost a year to drop after the original, it might actually be impossible to turn down to this song, so give in and dance like it’s no ones business.

4. Hot N**** – Bobby Shmurda
Bobby’s still behind bars so there’s a good chance his New Year’s wasn’t as hype as he planned. However, that won’t stop most of North America from bumping this all day long. If you ain’t a heater get up out my playlist!

5. No Type – Rae Sremmurd
Rae Sremmurd is fairly new and still earning his credentials but there’s not dispute here, “No Type” couldn’t be more catchy. Throw it in.

6. F*** You Mean – Meek Mill Ft. Boosie Badazz
If this beast of a track doesn’t get your blood pumping, nothing will.

7. Can’t Stop – Theophilus London Ft. Kanye West
Slowing things down a bit, “Can’t Stop” is for anyone planning on a strictly chill day. Just relax and Listen.

8. 6. Tuesday – ILOVEMAKONNEN Ft. Drake
Even though the entire world went up on a Wednesday, “Tuesday” was almost certainly in every DJ’s playlist for New Years Eve. Even though this song is starting to get over-played, one more day won’t hurt.

9. Been Getting Money – Jeezy Ft. Akon
Jeezy’s Seen It All: The Autobiography is easily one of the best projects of 2014, and this collaboration with Akon who’s been quiet in the industry of late, makes it that much better. This is the type of song you’ll want to raise a glass to, and maybe throw up a rolly or two.

10. 2015 Flow – YG
What better way to close out 2014 than with YG’s “2015 Flow”? The beats nasty and YG gets even nastier.
