You heard it right. Kim Kardashian accused of being a secret agent by Iran.  Apparently selfies are now a weapon.

The model, spokesperson, and worldwide celebrity, is now having her Instagram account monitored by Iranian Officials due to suspicions over her popularity. According to Global News, allegedly, her mass collection of selfies and bikini pics are part of a plan to corrupt Iranian culture, depicting a lifestyle at odds with Islam and targeting “young people and women.”

This isn’t the first time Iranian Officials have tried to shutdown homegrown media social media feeds depicting Persian woman who use Western influences during photo shoots. According to the Washington Times,

“In March, Iran’s online authorities’ shutdown the Instagram pages of several well-known super models, as well as those of hair salons and photography workshops,” Ms. Shahrabi reported. In their place, online visitors found a large blue frame with the caption “These pages are blocked by the authority of Operation Spider 2 to open security cases by order of the judiciary.” Of course, the government’s policing of its citizens’ violation of social norms has broader implications than some models finding their Instagram feeds blacklisted. As The New York Times reported Monday, “a female politician, Minoo Khaleghi, who had won election to Parliament as a moderate, was told she would not be allowed to take her seat after images of her emerged on social media showing her without the obligatory head scarf.”

According to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the last time Iranians went to the polls, they selected nine women to the male-dominated national legislature.”

Kim was allegedly unaware of these accusations when she arrived in Cannes, France, for the Cannes Film Festival.

If Kim was a secret agent she would definitely have a kick-ass wardrobe in likes of The Black Widow but way less edgy. She would also have fashion forward and hidden makeup gadgets. What a great cover though. No one, besides the Iranian Government, would ever see it coming. You’d have to suspend your disbelief beyond its limitations. Kardashian is no Agent Carter. It might be a good Halloween costume idea though.

Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora are kicking ass in the premiere visual for their track, “Black Widow.” The empowering track is featured on Iggy’s debut album, The New Classic, and was produced by Stargate. The video features Iggy and Rita in a Kill Bill theme going after the same target, an evil ex which so happens to be actor, Michael Madsen.
