If anyone deserves to be in D.C. Rap’s history books, it’s Likeblood — a groundbreaking group that paved a way for a lot of the city’s favorite local artists-turned-stars today. This is all necessary because Likeblood member Biness Man E (fka Yung E) continues to make waves on the scene both as a solo artist and, well…business man, turning the Likeblood imprint into a thriving collective of Uptown’s talented, rising stars (one such artist, UPTNEGUS‘ own Produca P, make a big splash with his project, Pre$$ure, late last month). Now, E returns to the spotlight with his new album, Relentless, a reflective trip through his life in and outside of the Nation’s Capital.

Biness Man E breaks down what fans can expect from the album:

Relentless is like an audio biography of my life and journey, and how me and my friends came up from running the streets of D.C. to going on nationwide tours, losing our deal and reinventing, rebuilding ourselves to prosper once again with all of the odds stacked against us.

Relentless sees 14-tracks and additional appearances/production from (The Board Administration alum) MzSasha, Mike Will Made-It, Big Moon, Aleem Bilal, KPDoe and more…in addition to Produca P, Likeblood Ent. family Young Jitta, Mbea, Hot Rizzle, Ben Rockin and DC Slim also contribute to the pivotal project.

Biness Man E and his Likeblood Entertainment collective have always possessed a versatility not seen in most of D.C.’s Hip-Hop scene.
