One of our favorite rising artists BigBabyGucci kicked off the new year with his debut effort, a mixtape titled Gucci’s Universe and it’s something you’ll definitely want to hear.

The 9-track tape is a refreshing taste of the Charlotte based rapper’s sound and draws inspiration from some of the most popular cartoons out there. Gucci’s Universe also has an alternate deluxe version with 4 extra tracks and is laced with production by Oscar100, 6Silky, PackMan, Misogi, Joe Dirt and Captain Crunch.

One of our favorite up-and-coming rappers BigBabyGucci has just dropped a brand new track and it’s fire.

BigBabyGucci decided to link up with South Florida producer Oscar100 for the super catchy and appropriately titled “100“. Although the song is short and sweet (just a little under the two-minute mark), it’s still listener worthy and definitely doesn’t disappoint.

Known for his eclectic sound and superb beat selection, BigBabyGucci is almost unpredictable at this point in time. The Charlotte-based rapper is breaking down the genre barriers yet again with his mellow new track “No Highway In Heaven” (produced by BLVC SVND). Here’s what BigBabyGucci had to say about the meaning behind his new song:

“No Highway In Heaven” is a uber pop/rap song I wrote basically talking about a girl and me trying  to persuade her to love me, even though I know she’s evil and has hidden intentions like the rest of em.
