He does a great job of creating a relatable record for music lovers worldwide to enjoy.

Produced by Juu, Caesar Salad is powered by the slow, methodical beat that enhances the density of the somber lyrics from Flock. With this single, Flock hopes to be able to touch the hearts of his fans and potential new ones.

“Now, having time to digest being a free man and enjoying life, I realized that life is short, so I want to be a beacon of inspiration with my music for now on. With my fatherhood and increasing notoriety among the industry, I have come to see that people don’t know me. I’m a down to earth guy who tackles his problems head-on, and Caesar Salad is a testament to that.” – Big Flock

With a new single, and support from DMV superstars such as Rico Nasty, Wale, 3oh Black, and Jay IDK, Big Flock is ready to take the world by storm. “Caesar Salad” solidifies this emcee as the next big act coming out of the Maryland area.

Maryland hip hop emcee Big Flock releases heavily anticipated 7 track EP titled Last 5Eva. After garnering almost 5 million streams on his The Great Depression EP, this release is right on time. After getting in trouble with the law, he is ready to show the world why his talent cannot be denied. The DMV trap icon flows effortlessly on heavily brass produced songs with melodic whims and the signatures ad-libs, distinguishing a distinct sound throughout the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. With co-signs from major recording artists Rico Nasty, YBN Cordae, and Wale, Last 5Eva comes with heavy anticipation for fans of Flock and new listeners throughout the world. With all the hype and anticipation, he does a great job handling the pressure and success with grace.

His diversity and need for change is what makes him stand out an artist and creative. You will hear an array of ear appealing bars over raw hip hop beats, taking his thriving sound to new heights. In a studio session, Flock exclaimed “being away for so long, tough times many things about life and how I can use my talent to impact people. If my presence and music relaxes people by making their lives better than it’s all the motivation I need in the world.” Aside from music, Flock and his team are coming up with ideas to give back to schools in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area in efforts to makes his community a better and safer place.

With all of the motivation, good morals, and reason to celebrate in the world, Big Flock will have a major 2020. Join him in his return to music by streaming his latest Last project Last 5Eva below.

It’s already acknowledged that Washington, D.C. Hip-Hop is looking better than ever, even in regards to the commercial realm (for example: both Wale and Logic have highly-publicized albums dropping next month). Here’s the latest from the DMV: currently-incarcerated rapper Big Flock has a new single out titled “They Won’t Believe You,” which features Rico Nasty.

On the track, Flock and Rico keep things very straight-to-the-point, drawing lines in the sand for their enemies and haters…the former is especially sinister (and at his best), giving off vibes of classic Midwest acid Rap and Philly’s Schooly D:

I’m talking to my baby mama, telling her my secrets
Told her I’m smoke her stupid ass if she don’t keep it
Put this 40 to her head, she talkin’ to the reaper
If I ain’t tryna get real messy, then I’ll put her in a sleeper
Shoot that n***a in the head, now his hairline is receding
And they gave him CPR, cause the p***y wasn’t breathing…
…
Before you talk to me, you’re better talking to my desert eagle
And you could say Big Flock a p***y, but I know they won’t believe ya…

Most new fans probably know Rico Nasty for her sunny, more melodic records, including collaborations with the likes of Lil Yachty (one of which appears on the Fate of the Furious soundtrack); on this cut, she keeps up with Flock darkest lyrics, utilizing some of the hard-hitting bars imaginable (“don’t you ever disrespect me, I’ll turn your ass into Casper”). Simply put, both artists spaz out over the piano-driven production, which comes courtesy of MK Beatz.

Check out “They Won’t Believe You” below and purchase the single via iTunes. Currently, Flock is currently in federal prison, where he will be serving a 45-month sentence. He recently wrote a powerful open letter addressing his circumstance, as well as what he’s learned from his past transgressions — you can read that in full here.

Big Flock rises from the trenches on The Great Depression. In what could arguably be described as on of this countries most tumultuous times, Flock’s presciently titled “The Great Depression” encapsulates both Flock’s journey and a personal, collective feeling altogether. What this project does is simple; TGD graduated Flock from a promising mixtape artist to a rising force whose wrenching street tales and trap documentary allow a vision to form and most importantly, a signature sound and mark to come to life. The Great Depression’s intro, “Lucifer,” sets an authentically gritty tone to the project blending the trap with the macabre. Cuts like “She Like,” (Feat. Visto) “Life Is A Movie,” and “Come Over” (Feat. Vanessa) give us a more light-hearted Flock, where “Testimony,” “Bruvas,” and the smash-single “Black KKK” with 21 Savage remind us that his rough-exterior and street dialogue is indeed as real as it gets. The Great Depression is the first bona-fide chapter in Flock’s story. This project not only picks up where Glockism and others left off, it shows his depth as a trap artist and even more importantly, his knack for song writing. The digital age gives us vast options when consuming Trap music, but Flock’s staple drawl and regular sonic aggression makes you feel a tangible part of his coming of age and above all else, wildly alive. The Great Depression feels special. Big Flock feels special. While minor setbacks for Flock are of course unfortunate, it shows no signs of slowing anything down and like our countries harder times, Flock “The Great Depression” will come out on the other end more promising than ever.
