Just a week ago, Epic Records recording artist BIA returned with “Free BIA (1st Day Out).” Once again her clever and catchy wordplay takes second stage as she turns heads in the accompanying video by donning various looks while still rapping. “COVER GIRL” showcases her bars and style on point.

The irony, huh
Quit tryin’ me/
Okay take me out to Barney’s if you proud of me
I like baguettes, I like Pateks, boy if you drownin’ me/

Spitting with agile aggression, dropping clever observations, and pouncing like a panther on every beat, BIA rips through rap with a feral intensity. She uncovered this beast inside.

Watch it below and leave us a comment telling us what you think about this upcoming summer anthem.

This time, we are treated to the visual format of the song, with Carrington Scott behind the lens.

“I might buy a ice cream truck and hand out cones to every zone”, BIA raps, while riding through the streets of Los Angeles doing just that, in this fun-filled new clip, which also features numerous cutaways of Gucci Mane, whom this song is dedicated to. It’s clear that she and other Gucci Mane loyalists are impatiently awaiting his return home from prison, where he has been since 2014.

With a few joints already circulating and now a brand new video, it is fair to say that the anticipation for BIA’s debut album, Knock On Wood is at pretty high levels, right now. Let’s hope she drops that project on us sooner than later. In the meantime, enjoy “Gucci Comin’ Home” and as always, #FreeGuwop!

Miami’s Zoey Dollaz has been working hard to build his buzz and it appears to have paid off, as he recently signed to Future’s FreeBandz label. Channeling a classic Dave Chappelle sketch we all know and love, Zoey unloads the Jahlil Beats-produced “Couches”

Taco Ve’l – “Eureka”

Taco Ve’l continues his weekly music releases — properly known as Taco Tunesdays — and this might be his best drop yet. Though it comes in at just under two minutes long, “Eureka” proves to be effective, and definitely a sign of more to come.

Bia – “Whip It”

This isn’t even really a new song or anything. I just figured I’d throw it in here because people are finally beginning to catch on to Pharrell’s latest protege; so much so, that Bia recently made “Whip It” available for sale on iTunes. Take a listen, below, if you’ve been sleep. If you like it, buy it.

Lil Bizzy – “Then Smoke”

Even though 420 has come and gone, there’s never a bad day to drop a stoner anthem and Lil Bizzy did just that, as he recently blessed his fellow chiefers with “Then Smoke”. Produced by Rashad, “Then Smoke” sees the son of legendary Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member Bizzy Bone, providing a laid back, yet rapid fire, flow highly reminiscent of his pops. Roll one up and press play.

If you haven’t already heard, Radric Davis, aka Gucci Mane will be back on the streets really, really soon, and the only rapper who is probably happier than Young Thug about this, is Boston newcomer BIA. In fact, she is so happy that she made a song to celebrate what will surely be a glorious occasion, as Guwop has been incarcerated for the last three years. What she said “Bunx and I were freestyling in the studio singing ‘Gucci comin home’ and then came this anthem, says Pharrell’s latest protégé. Take a listen to “Gucci Comin’ Home”, below.

https://soundcloud.com/princesstrilla/bia-gucci-comin-home?utm_source=soundcloud&utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=twitter

Not only did BIA bless us with new sounds today, but she also dropped off a new visual for her most recent smash, “Whip It”. Watch as the Perico Princess, and a few mami’s tear up a vintage car lot, providing some pretty ill imagery to accompany BIA’s ever so laid-back flow, which at this point is seeming like a signature thing.

In case you’re looking for BIA on the road, she is currently making her rounds with Pusha T, for the Darkest Before Dawn Tour. You can (and definitely should) also be on the lookout for her forthcoming debut album, Knock On Wood.

Back in December of last year, while we frantically scrambled to add Pusha T’s sophomore album, King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude, to our musical devices, we also rushed to our computers to hit up Ticketmaster or StubHub or whatever, as Push subsequently announced he was going on tour, beginning March 3rd in Vancouver, Canada.

But here’s what we didn’t know, until today…

Joining Pusha T on the road will be Sisterhood of Hip-Hop star, and I Am Other signee, BIA. If you have been keeping score, this is kind of a big deal. Bia has been bubbling for a minute, with her most recent project, Chola Season, still getting hella spins, not to mention the new music she’s dropping leading up to the release of her upcoming project, Knock On Wood. This tour will without a doubt be a chance for her to add to her already growing fan base, as well as wake up the ones who have been sleeping.

I mentioned new music, right? Right.

After teasing this one for quite a while, BIA finally delivers “Whip It” and she doesn’t disappoint. This follows her previous freestyle over O.T. Genasis’ popular record, “Cut It”. Listen as she links up with former Wiz Khalifa collaborators Cardo and Johnny Juliano, spitting ever so witty lines like, “me and them hoes no comparison/other than the fact we feminine” and “you’re like Perkins/’cause you almost get in with the winners/but suck ’cause you always hit backboard”, referring to NBA journeyman and one-time Boston Celtics player, Kendrick Perkins, who she probably used to cheer for at one time, since she’s a Beantown native.

https://soundcloud.com/princesstrilla/whip-it
