One of my biggest pet peeves about working in the music industry is when you first meet somebody, and they ramble on and on about who they know. Instead of establishing a relationship with you and letting you know what they do, they try and impress you with clout.

Those people are fake, & the target of Las Vegas native Bennett’s new single, “F.A.B.”

Set to the backdrop of some nostalgic production, featuring off-kilt drum breaks and a unique synth pattern, “F.A.B.” serves as the first single off Bennett’s upcoming debut, Ferdinand, & its the perfect introduction.

Utilizing his silky smooth voice and lethargic but infectious cadence, Bennett commands the track with complete swagger and confidence as who goes on about the fake people in life.

“I recorded the first verse and as soon as I heard the, ‘FAKE ASS BITCHES’ line, I just knew it was the chorus,” Bennett tells RESPECT. via text, “cause everybody’s got fake people in their life. Fake homies and what not who disguise themselves as friends. That’s been happening often this year.”
