After rocking this year’s Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival and then taking their talents across the pond, NYC duo Lion Babe is back with a new single to tide those of us over who are anxiously awaiting their debut album.

With help from BBC Radio 1 and i-D, Lion Babe premiered their latest single, “Impossible” today, and it couldn’t have come a day sooner, as it is a song filled with summer vibes.

Flying Lotus hosted his first residency at BBC Radio 1 today and played a two-hour segment full of new tracks and remixes. Some of the most exciting and memorable parts include a guest mix from Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood, a new Thundercat song, an alternate edit of his previously released track “Never Catch Me” featuring Kendrick Lamar, in addition to two new songs called “Post Requisite” and “Theme (Alternate Edit)” from FlyLo himself. And if that list didn’t just blow your mind, he also interviewed jazz music legend Herbie Hancock. A noticeable change has come over rapper Kanye West. From hand delivering Yeezy 750 Boosts to fans to even being seen smiling more freely, the artist is beginning to give off a warmer air about himself.  While West is known for his openness, he really allowed his guard to come down in a recent interview with BBC Radio 1 Host Zane Lowe. Upon speaking on a close mentor and friend who recently passed, British Professor Louise Wilson, West surprised everyone, including himself, when he broke down in tears, causing the artist to step out to regroup. Upon returning, West went on to discuss such topics as his past frustrations with expressing himself, exclusivity being the new N-word, and his fears of going crazy.
