Today marks a year from when rising star Bankroll Fresh was tragically killed outside of his recording studio in Atlanta. In lieu of the anniversary, the late rapper’s family has revealed the official artwork for Fresh’s posthumous album (above), titled In Bank We Trust. In addition, Fresh’s mother — Terisa Price — spoke in detail to XXL about the forthcoming release:

Well, the name is gonna be In Bank We Trust, and I think we’re gonna do 12 songs and bonuses on the album and we was really trying to push it for the 4th… But I’m not sure if we’re gonna push it for the 24th of April, which is K. Rich’s birthday [NOTE: That date has since been confirmed]. We’re gonna have some features on there from different other artists that’s out… but we’re working on it now and we were just in the studio the other day and we’ve got a hot song that’s gonna be a single. I named it ‘A Hell of a Night.’ I named ‘Dirty Game’ and I named ‘Truth Be Told,’ I named those songs. I think it’s highly anticipated.

March 6, 2017  will make a year since up and coming 28-year-old Atlanta rapper, Bankroll Fresh — real name was Trentavious White– was shot and killed outside the Street Execs Studio in Atlanta, GA. It’s still unclear as to what transpired that night or what caused the shoot-out but the Atlanta Police Department have released the video details (partially) of that night in hopes to gain answers as to what really went down the night of March 6, 2016.

The Atlanta Police had this to say about the shooting:

“Whether or not he was defending himself or the other person defending themselves, that is the question. That’s where we are trying to get to the truth,” Atlanta police Maj. Adam Lee said via WSB-TV

The clip above shows a snippet of the chaos that went down that fatal night; it appears to show Bankroll Fresh firing an assault rifle. Police did not release the video in its entirety due its graphic nature. Per media site Complex, Atlanta rapper, No Plug (a.k.a Skully), a longtime friend of Bankroll Fresh was accused of being the alleged shooter of the slain rapper back in July. No Plug talked about the incident and claimed he fired in self-defense. He later stated that he talked to the police after the incident but was not arrested or charged.

In the meantime, the Atlanta police just want the truth:

“We’re looking for anybody we have not identified who may have been there and may know more than what we know at this point, than what we see on the video.”

At this time the DA is weighing on on filing charges or prosecution on anyone involved in the case. Guess we’ll have to keep our eyes and ears open to what the outcome may be. Stay Tuned!
