Soul singer is an understatement when referring to James Bambu. With a voice that has been compared to voices like Donny Hathaway & Amy Winehouse, Atlanta’s very own, Bambu, released the song “Rare Love” this past summer and has been trying to reach radio frequencies ever since. The song consists of a very inspiring message to young females in search of a special love. Stagnant guitars meet the cool old R&B stylings of Bambu’s voice on the track. The video depicts a young couple falling in love and  the tolls that love entails of. Watch the video below:

Cruised around the L.E.S. in a three-Cadillac caravan last Saturday before the STKxNYC show to check out the shoot for Bambu’s “Paper Thin” (off the ...paper cuts… EP) music video featuring Chace Infinite. Directed by Andrew Graziuso of LightWork Media, the same team who did Bam’s “Quit” video, shot last year during the Philippine Independence Day Parade. Photos were shot with a Canon AE-1 Program, Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens & Ilford HP5+ 400 B&W film @ 400 ASA.
