EDM Trap pioneer (I think?) Baauer is back with a Summer record for the masses titled “3AM,” which sees the Philly producer connecting with London emcee AJ Tracey and L.A. rising R&B star Jae Stephens. Expect to hear this one spinning on your resort vacay or island holiday.

TORY LANEZ AND WEDIDIT RELEASE ‘CRUEL INTENTIONS’ EP

Toronto meets LA as Tory Lanez connects with the collective WEDIDIT to create there brand new EP, entitled Cruel Intentions.

With the EP Tory Lanez gives you R&B with chilling vocals over soft yet ominous productions that sends you on a emotional roller coaster. The 5-track EP’s production comes from Baauer, D33J, Play Picasso, RL Grime and Shlohmo, and there are no features.

When The FADER asked Lanez what he wanted listeners to take away from Cruel Intentions, he answered, “Go do what it makes you feel like doing. It’s a good piece of music to reflect to. There’s fun parts of it, there’s sad parts of it: all the moods in such a small compilation. Feel good, go fuck somebody.”

News: Big Sean and Baauer To Headline Trillectro 2014

The official lineup for this year’s Trillectro was released yesterday. Both Big Sean and Baauer will serve as headliners for the festival, which will also feature Fat Trel, SZA, Migos, Sango, TWRK, and Goldlink. The third annual Washington, D.C. hip-hop/EDM festival will take place on August 23rd at the RFK Fairgrounds. General Admission and VIP tickets can be purchased here.
