Is she finished or is she done?

Ayesha Curry, who we all know as the wife of Golden State Warriors point guard — and public enemy #1 in Cleveland — Steph Curry has been doing the absolute most, lately. She mocked LeBron James’ ‘high road’ comments, regarding his situation with Draymond Green. Ok, cool. She asked if the refs could be fined, after Golden State dropped Game 5 to the Cavaliers. Funny. I’ve honestly paid her mini-rants and slick tweets no attention, until Game 6 of the NBA Finals, where she seemingly lost her marbles.

It started off bad, from jump. She complained about the families of Warriors players being denied entry into Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena, calling it an “interesting tactic”, as if security at The Q said “Hey, let’s not let them in.” As if Beyoncé and JAY Z being in attendance wasn’t the cause of the delay. Ayesha also alleged that her brother was banned from Cleveland’s Horseshoe Casino for having on a Warriors shirt. As funny as that is — because Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert owns that spot, as well — I still think she was reaching. In any event, she was eventually seated in the arena, and we all thought that was the last we’d hear from her. Game time.

If you watched the game, you witnessed the Cleveland Cavaliers put forth a dominant effort, capped off with a win, that will now force Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Late in the game, when things were pretty much decided, Steph Curry picked up his 6th and final foul, causing him to uncharacteristically lose his cool, throw his mouthpiece at a fan, and be sent back to the locker room. Then, Ayesha Curry struck again.

She took down the tweet and even apologized for it, but who cares? Is she serious? She really thinks the NBA is rigged? Was it rigged when the Warriors became the winningest NBA team of all-time, with a record of 73-9? Was it rigged when Steph Curry became the league’s first ever unanimous MVP? Or how about when the Golden State Warriors rallied back from a 3-1 deficit to eliminate the Oklahoma City Thunder? Was it rigged, then? On top of all this, we’re talking about Cleveland. The city with the worst championship drought in all of professional sports. I don’t think Ayesha Curry watched ESPN’s 30 for 30: Believeland; because if she did, she would know that nothing in the history of the world has ever been “rigged” in our favor.

We didn’t hear a peep from Ayesha Curry all season, when the Golden State Warriors were breezing through the league as if all their opponents were community colleges, but now that her husband and his team are up against the wall and is actually being challenged for once, she wants to let the conspiracy theories fly. Is there funny business going on, or do we just have someone who has gotten so used to winning, that it has made them a sore loser? I’m going to go with the latter.

I sat on Twitter all year long and watched people cape for Ayesha Curry as if she was the model example of what every woman should be, and for whatever reason, I never bought into it. After last night though, I know why.

The only thing I’ll give Ayesha Curry credit for is sticking up for her man. That was and will always be dope, but she has to be as smart as she is defensive. She has to remember that she is a reflection of Steph Curry. Don’t get on Twitter and say reckless things that will not only have people at your neck, but could also end up costing your family a few dollars.

I’m all for being outspoken and voicing your opinion, but there comes a time — even for me — where you have to sit back and shut up. Put it in the group chat, next time, or something.

As we all by now, Roni Rose aka drink sipper is a big fan of the Golden State Warriors. No, she isn’t some home wrecker trying to steal a basketball player’s heart. She is actually there to watch the game. And though many have had plenty to say about the infamous drink-sipping photo (see below), Ayesha Curry actually defended Rose.

Bossip took to Twitter to question Ayesha for giving back some Cavs shirt and the conversation turned into Roni Rose. Ayesha–whom has stayed quiet during all the rumors–finally responded. Check out the clap back:
