Isiah Thomas Talks Going 1-on-1 With Will Smith On Fresh Prince of Bel Air

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air has had some had some memorable cameos: Donald Trump, Evander Holyfield, Heavy D, Tevin Campbell, Riddick Bowe, Ken Griffey Jr and Kareem Abdul Jabbar to name a few. Hey, how about that episode when Will Smith went one-on-one with Isiah Thomas?

Bombarded with a ton of coursework and a star role on the Bel Air Academy basketball team, Will Smith fell asleep in class and went toe to toe with the Detroit Pistons legend.

Wow, Will even blocked one of Thomas’ shots!

“That was great,” Thomas told me on this weeks episode of Scoop B Radio. “Not only was it great, what was real cool, Will, at the time, was a basketball fan, so he could play a little bit. So, being on the Fresh Prince and then hanging with Will, that was awesome. I mean it was…I guess he was in the dream, and I was in too.”

Not only did Thomas chat about going one-on-one with Smith, on this weeks episode of Scoop B Radio, but he also touched on a ton of topics like how he almost drafted Kevin Garnett when he was part owner and team president of the Toronto Raptors, how the Raptors were way ahead on the learning curve of small ball basketball that many NBA teams like the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers play and more. Asics Upcoming Gel-Respector “4th of July” Pack

As we get ready to celebrate this year’s Independence Day in a couple of weeks, Asics will drop three colorways of the Gel-Respectors inspired by Old Glory and lands.

The colorways will be inspired by the 4th of July, red, white (cream) and blue. Each shoe has a brushed suede upper, with cream detailing throughout the mid-sole – tongue and branding, giving it a vintage look. It is a combination of durable and smooth leather upper, gel cushioned EVA foam mid-sole and rubber outside with flex grooves for comfort.

This pack is set to launch on June 25th at select retailers, but seems to already be available at some places online. There will be a retail price of $130. This gives you sometimes to get your for right before the cookouts,night outings and fireworks! This won’t be the on,y shoe showing homage to Independence Day, but they sure are worth for the style and comfort.

The running shoes latest collab was with two big Japanese sneaker retailers, Beams and Mita. The shoe was inspired by the Japanese souvenir jacket, that has been produced by brands such as H&M. The shoe was constructed with an all-black suede upper, with camp marbled out-sole. Also included Japan embroider on each heel, a tiger head and Japanese text patches on the back.

Chris Brown Releases Title for his Upcoming Album

Today one of the best all around performers of our time (as we witness on Twitter at least twice a week) and R&B sensation Chris Brown released the title for his upcoming album via Twitter. The singer decided that the album would be entitled Royalty in honor of his very precious one year old daughter. This album will be the follow up to his latest project X. We’re not exactly sure of what the album will consist of considering that the title is surrounding the matter of him starting a new chapter in his life. When it comes to music, it seems like he lands just about everything into gold so this should be exciting to hear regardless. But speaking of landing, the singer also recently collaborated with Baker Skateboards as well as Asics. There’s clearly no doubt that the artist is on definitely on the move this year and has his hands in just about everything right now. In the meanwhile, it’s best that we all stay tune for the magic.

Although it seems as if Puma has been on top of it lately collaborating with celebrities like Rihanna and Vashtie, they aren’t the only ones who are making moves. Recently, R&B superstar Chris Brown announced via Instagram that he would be collaborating with the highly versatile and color-way praised Asics. If you consider his dope artistic abilities, his raw taste in fashion, on top of his own personal sneaker style, this was definitely a match bound to happen. Whatever he decides to do with Asics, you can expect for it to be heat.
