It is human nature, we all go through trials and tribulations and last year, Ashley Martinez nearly came to the end of the road, but decided to turn a dark path into an amazing record. Over-coming alcoholism and a near death experience, Ashley found the strength and will through her music.

“Dead Roses” represents the transformation Ashley has been through as she emerged from the darkness and now sees the light. She has quickly become relevant on Youtube, with her video going viral and is quickly approaching 1/2 million views in a short period of time.

Ashley Martinez is a classically trained singer, has appeared on records with Tony Yayo & many others. A former Miss Universe contestant representing Canada, in the World Supermodel Pageant, she has made appearances on local and national television & continues to turn heads anywhere that she appears. Presently she is working on a new album with Super Producer “E. Smitty” out of Atlanta & will be back out on the road this fall.

Canadian songstress Ashley Martinez isn’t just a pretty face.  The former Miss Universe Canada pageant finalist is also a vocal powerhouse, who just dropped the visuals for her latest offering, “Dead Roses.”  Martinez, whose collab with Tony Yayo, “Memory,” made major waves, followed that up with “Letting Go,” which found distribution through Akon’s Hitlab, and ended up with major radio play on over 108 different radio stations.  Since then, she’s been back in the studio hard at work, and eagerly awaiting the chance to wow the world some more.  To make that happen, so far this year, she teamed up with Earl Cohen, whose credits read like a list of music royalty’s “Who’s Who,” and include Lady Gaga, Joe, Pink, and the late Whitney Houston, for a four song demo.  She’s also releasing the visuals for her latest record, “Dead Roses,” premiering now.

“Dead Roses” is a darkly seductive song that showcases the incredible range of Martinez’s sultry vocals, and is a testament to Martinez’s potential for star power.  No gimmicks, no distractions, just good music.
