Spanish street artist Aryz has gone back to his roots in Spain and created a mural somewhere in the Bilbao region. He worked quickly through this piece, presenting some of his newest skeleton work. Aryz shared some words in regards to how the community reacted when this piece was done:

Quite a few neighbors didn’t like it that much and as a consequence I had some issues during the process. As I’ve said more than once I don’t paint nice imagery to have public acceptance… of course I don’t paint either to have a bad time, but sometimes you have to deal with certain things when you are on the street.

Liqen

This week the best mural out there was produced by Liqen in Chichester. His large sketch-like mural carries a compelling sense of movement. If Pixel Pancho and his robotic creatures collaborated with Blu‘s universe, their work would probably resembles Liqen‘s

Aryz x David Choe x RETNA

A new trio has formed: Aryz and David Choe hooked up with RETNA to work on this new mural in downtown Los Angeles. Their distinctive styles don’t merge together quite yet, but the final product is memorable even if their idiosyncrasies are discernible.

ROA

ROA! As always, he successfully creates a eye-catching spectacle; this particular mural is in Chichester.

Seikon

 Seikon was spotted in Poland producing one of his kaleidoscopic shapes.

Aryz (above) worked on a collaboration with David Choe in L.A. You can clearly distinguish the American’s artist surrealistic style colliding with the Aryz‘s creepy world.

Invader

Last time we heard from Invader he was pasting a mosaic of Spider-man onto the Parisian landscape. The French artist now dropped a new work in London depicting another hero, Luke Skywalker, chilling out with his father, Darth Vader.

Ben Slow & Mear One

Ben Slow and Mear One worked on a politically charged collaboration for the streets of San Francisco. The two street artists portrayed Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan in a light that acknowledges their shadier dealings.

Jack TML

The incredible Israeli artist Jack TML was recently in Germany to paint an indoor piece somewhere in Munich. His figurative work is charged with feelings of distance and proximity.

Aryz, prior to his collaboration with David Choe, worked on a gigantic mural in San Francisco. The Barcelona-based artist worked on merging the insides and outsides of his female character using his signature color pallet.

Stik is currently honoring the Chichester Street Art Festival  alongside Run & Phlegm. Working with his minimalistic stick figures, the British artist produces a piece that creates movement through subtlety.

Aryz is back with some new work in Copenhagen and is once again inviting us to see one of his large-scaled murals. The Spanish street artist is currently in Denmark for the  Galore Festival 2012,  an urban art festival. Even though he’s working with human subjects instead of his usual animals and skeletons you can still sense the same oddness and creepiness that defines Aryz’s work.

Aryz is a graffiti and street artist from Barcelona. His works are mostly large scaled murals with vividly colored creepy characters (from aliens to animals). His distorted characters invoke deadly themes involving loss but also renewal. He mostly uses paint rollers and spray paint.

If you pay better attention to his work you notice that his outdoor murals of living characters seem uncertain and fearful, whereas his dead-like characters are associated to nature, freedom and life.

Earlier this summer, Spanish graffiti artist Aryz, threw up this mural in Civitavecchia, Italy (near Rome). With this large skeleton-themed production, Aryz managed to stay true to his distinctive style, using spraycans and big roller brushes as his handy, artistic tools. While we may be a little late on this tip, it doesn’t feel right to pass up the chance to continue to share this stunning work. We love everything about this piece: the colors, the attention to detail, the gargantuan size, and even the appropriately placed name tag. Well done Aryz; this one was impossible to ignore, and we can’t wait to see more.
