UPDATE (7.15.15. 7:23pm): We now know exactly why Young Thug was arrested this morning in Georgia. Following an incident at Perimeter Mall, in Atlanta, Young Thug was asked to leave, but not before he allegedly threatened to shoot a mall security guard in the face.

At 6am, most people are waking up, getting ready to start their day at work. Not Young Thug. He was awakened and arrested this morning, by U.S. Marshals who had a warrant out for the Atlanta emcee. It’s not exactly known what happened, or when, but what we do know is that Thugger is being charged with making terroristic threats, according to Jim Joyner, a representative of the U.S. Marshals.
Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffrey Williams, currently sits in the Dekalb Country jail, where he’ll await an arraignment and bond hearing.
Looks like shit just got real for Thugger. Stay tuned for more info on this developing story.

Since being arrested back in December 2014 on multiple felony charges, Epic Records signee Bobby Shmurda hasn’t had much go in his favor since. On Tuesday June 23rd,  The ‘Hot N***a’ rapper was arrested once again, but this time for “promoting prison contraband” after he allegedly received a “sharpened metal instrument”. The Class D Felony is defined as “knowingly and unlawfully introduc[ing] any dangerous contraband into a detention facility,” or, “Being a person confined in a detention facility [who] knowingly and unlawfully makes, obtains or possesses any dangerous contraband” according to the New York penal code. While Shmurda’s October 5th trial date looms near, this new charge will not be discussed, and rather will be addressed at a later date and will be tried in the Bronx Criminal Court. Seems like law enforcement and Bobby Shmurda aren’t the best of friends. The rapper was arrested during a police sting very early this morning along with several members of GS9, in front of a NYC recording studio. The rap crew has been tied to involvement of several shooting as well as narcotic trafficking after a long-term investigation by the NYPD. The exact charges against Bobby are unknown until his arraignment on Thursday at the Manhattan Supreme Court. Kati Cornell, director of public information for New York City’s special narcotics prosecutor states the NYPD plans to hold a press conference tomorrow afternoon to discuss the case. This is Bobby Shmurda’s third run in with the law this year following his arrest for weapon possession in June, and for smoking a joint with friends while being doubled parked on a Brooklyn street in October.

TMZ is reporting that the man of multiple chains was arrested today at LaGuardia Airport after the TSA found brass knuckles on his carry-on bag. 2 Chainz was taken into custody by police for…wait for it… “misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon.” No word on if police also thought the rapper was planning on using his designer glasses to stab people, or if he was plotting to launch his Louie boots at people like throwing stars.
