California-based artist/skateboarder Apollo Jetson embodies the story of a young talent chasing his dreams to the far reaches of life. Case in point: check out the soulful, Floetry-sampled cut “Hollywood Blvd,” which was produced by Pro Reese (Wale) and breaks down the struggle one goes through looking for success in a brand new city…especially with only 20 dollars to your name:

Apollo has come across his share of imposers and people looking to take advantage of him simply because he was new to the city and his associations with others in the music industry. The true-to-L.A. vibe about “Hollywood Blvd” reminds us that although times may get hard and things won’t always work out, it’s important to keep a smile on your face focus on what’s going right and keep pushing.
