Postal worker by day, writer any other day, Anthony Canton III is the man with the plan when it comes to poetry and spoken word.

Insert his latest project: Selfish. Selfish is the follow-up to the poetry book Finding Peace in the Storm.

Selfish takes the reader on a unique journey of self-indulgence. As per Amazon: Canton III reflects and ponders the decisions he’s made in life through spoken word. As the story weaves through topics that are relevant then and now, the lessons that land on his doorstep give him a new reality that he must come to grips with. According to Canton III, he finds the most challenging part of writing cutting through the fat of words to get to the meat of what he’s trying to say. He seemed locked and loaded in Selfish, however. “This book is special as it’s the most unique poetry book ever,” Anthony Canton III tells RESPECT.Mag via e-mail.
