<p>With talent, beauty, and charisma, its a certain that Anababy is undisputedly one of the most promising and highly sought artists in 2020. Being in a male-dominated industry is a non-factor, and will not impede on Ana Baby’s ability to separate herself from the rest in an era where female rappers are spreading their word and making a substantial impact on the music industry. The Bronx native’s gritty street edge and sex appeal coupled with her thought-provoking punchlines have led her single “Ride” to stand at #162 on the Global Top 200 Chart for online radio during its 3rd week in rotation. Ana teamed up with platinum producer Trilogy (who is known for the work he has done with artists like Chris Brown and Troy Ave) to produce the catchy and probing tune we know as “Ride”.</p>
<p>Ana Baby has performed in front of over 10,000 roaring fans, opening for prominent artists such as Lil Durk, Vado, and French Montana. She released her first mixtape “The Evil Queen,” which featured the likes of Hip-Hop heavyweights Jadakiss, and the late Chinx Drugz.</p>
<p>With a string of releases on the horizon and a firm standing at #58 on the United States Top 150 Indie Artist Charts, Ana Baby is sure to continue climbing the Hip-Hop charts with no signs of putting her foot on the brakes!  In 201 9  Anababy released a record With Chris Brown called “Gotta Have it all.”  “Show Me Love” is another banger Anababy has released and her fans are loving it.</p>

<div class="ndfHFb-c4YZDc-vWsuo-fmcmS-IDNFyf ndfHFb-c4YZDc-vWsuo-fmcmS-G0jgYd"><strong>RESPECT.: Where are you from and where were you first introduced to hop-hop? </strong>Anababy: I was raised in Harlem but hip-hop discovered me in the Bronx. In NYC every borough has a different relation to hip-hop for me.</div>
</div>
<div dir="auto"></div>
</div>
<div>
<div dir="auto"><strong>RESPECT.: What was the sound of NYC growing up? </strong></div>
<div dir="auto">Anababy: I’m bilingual so growing up the NY sound was a mix of different sounds from my Spanish and my Black culture, we listened to everything from Big Daddy Kane, Run DMC, Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan to Jerry Rivera, Selena, India, Celia Cruz, and my and my mother had me in summer camps so I heard sounds like Beatles, Shania Twain &amp; Dolly Parton growing up.</div>
<div dir="auto"></div>
</div>
<div>
<div dir="auto"><strong>RESPECT.: Who are your musical influences? </strong></div>
<div dir="auto">Anababy: My icons inspire me in different ways but these people get specifically get me going like there’s no wrong in my eyes they can do lol.  Jay-Z &amp; Beyoncé both separately and united they are represent black excellence, Lil Wayne lyrically is a genius to me I can listen to him any day anytime anywhere, Diana Ross, Cher, Rihanna especially on the visuals these women give me feminine motivation like Diane is the boss of gloss and then Cher and Rihanna bridge the gap between the eras of powerful women and they use their voice to speak up so I love that and Naomi Campbell she’s not a musician but I met her &amp; the drip had me drenched is all I can say she will be forever legendary for me.</div>
</div>
<div>
<div dir="auto"></div>
<div dir="auto"><strong>RESPECT.: How much harder do you work than the average female emcee? </strong></div>
</div>
<div>
<div dir="auto">Anababy: believe practice makes perfect &amp; success is  created when preparation meets opportunity. I work my ass off everyday to establish my success. There was times I was facing eviction &amp; had to hustle to make ends meet Or I worked A 9-5 plus a 2nd job as a bottle girl and still had to perform at my shows and book the studio the next day, there were times when I would pay everyone &amp; I go home empty handed, times I had to invest in myself , go in debt and still find a way to reinvest, still believe in myself when people thought it would be easier to create other avenues, I have to prove myself constantly as a women in general against the masses, I have to fight the stereotypes of what a female rapper is suppose to look like and who she should be, I have to be innovative to market myself, so I have to wear different hats to make a song or stay awake for 12 hours to edit 4min videos, I have to create the time to write my songs even if that means neglecting loved ones or no hanging out just to practice and it all sounds hard you would ask me, why would you do that Ana? Well for one, it’s like being an athlete u got to work on your craft and two other artists chose other routes that may be easy for them and not for me, they may be ok with f****ng for tracks, stabbing people in the back just to get ahead doing the enemy’s work but you see I make bags, I don’t carry them anymore and that’s because I’ve worked so hard to put myself in a position of power. I’m ok with doing for my team cuz my team does for me but for the opps on they team you might be the puppet &amp; I can’t be no puppet, I’m not ok with being a sucker, that’s hard for me I’m a go getter. Some people say they work harder but they ain’t working smarter. So I can’t speak in comparison of who works harder but I can def say I work f****ng hard &amp; I’ve sacrificed a lot to get what I got and get where I’m going plus i’m committed to my vision so like Captain America says I can do this all night.</div>
</div>
<div>
<div dir="auto"></div>
<div dir="auto"><strong>RESPECT.: Who are your top-5 female emcees? </strong><br />
Anababy: Anababy, Nicki Minaj, Lil Kim, Lauren Hill, and Missy Elliot.</div>
<div dir="auto"></div>
</div>
<div>
<div class="gmail_quote" dir="auto">
<div dir="auto"><strong>RESPECT.: What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced in the game? What’s the biggest blessing that you’ve received in the industry? What gems have you learned?</strong></div>
<div dir="auto">Anababy: Everyday is a blessing is a blessing my blessings was getting a record with Jadakiss and then getting a feature with Chris Brown. Jadakiss was my first amazing feat and then I went on a break. I thought that would’ve satisfied my appetite but it didn’t, I came back this time ready to be a boss and through MEGATRONMUZIKGROUP. I got my single with Chris Brown and that solidified that I was on my way to not only being an artist but being the artist that I want to be &amp; that’s such a blessing. My biggest challenge is not to let it go to my head, staying humble, and knowing there’s is no one moment to define me, but more so I get to define my moments. What I have learned is you can make a million mistakes once, just don’t make the same mistake twice.</div>
<div dir="auto"></div>
<div dir="auto"><strong>RESPECT.: What separates you from your peers? </strong></div>
<div dir="auto">Anababy: My energy, my Aura, my beliefs which oozes into my music and creates the wave. I don’t create to follow trends but I don’t reject being recreational. I promote being open honest &amp; authentic whatever your brand. One man’s trash is another’s treasure. I don’t believe in this or that, I believe in perspective what would this world be if we were all the same. Music today is starting to sound all the same I want to break outta that.</div>
<div dir="auto"></div>
<div dir="auto"><strong>RESPECT.: You recently released your latest single “ Show Me Love“, what story does it tell? </strong></div>
<div dir="auto">Anababy: The first line of the song say “I had sacrifice the old me I had to do it for my whole team”&#8230;.&amp; then in the hook it says “ Show Me Life” life is to short for hate” that’s what I was feeling in that moment it’s a story about making difficult choices and the sacrifices I chose to make in order to get to a better place because people will be the crabs in ur barrel trying to bring u down or discourage you but that’s when you go harder in your vision and when you’re intentions are pure you will succeed and the people who are suppose to be there will raise to the top.</div>
<div dir="auto"></div>
<div dir="auto"><strong>RESPECT.: When the sun shines again on the world where do you want to go and what’s next for you? </strong></div>
<div dir="auto">Anababy: Lol &#8230; as long as the sun is shining we already where we wanna go but once the airport opens I’m going to Puerto Rico. I gotta see my mom she my everything. What to look forward to I always have action going on you can follow me on social media all my handles are @therealanababy.</div>
<div dir="auto">
<p>I have a live blog talk show premiering May 14th Live on IG, I’m releasing a mixtape followed by my first EP and I was in the middle of the “Show Me Love” video shooting so as the world resumes, I’ll be releasing that also.</p>
</div>
<div dir="auto"><strong>RESPECT.: What does RESPECT. mean to you?<br />
</strong>Anababy: Everything it’s bigger then music in the entertainment industry we talk a good game about respect but we don’t realize that respect comes with discipline consideration empathy understanding awareness patience for yourself and others instead we critique people who are respectful as we glorify the tyranny therefore RESPECT. for me is everything cause I refuse to allow society to brainwash me into not knowing what’s real from what’s fake.</div>
