Kanye West: American Idol?

Late last year, there were rumblings that Kanye West auditioned to be a contestant on Fox’s American Idol. Yep. The Kanye West. As ridiculous as it sounds, it appears that it actually happened.

I’m not exactly sure how serious to take this, but watch as Yeezy wins over the Idol judges with his performance of “Gold Digger”.

Apparently the man who wants to be the president of the United States in 2020, wants to be your American Idol first. While we all hope he wins, we’ll probably be much more entertained if he loses.

NEW MUSIC: Jordin Sparks – “Boyz in the Hood”

After releasing a mixtape, EP and two music videos, while also planning an album release, Jordin Sparks has been on fire this summer. The singer announced some new potential singles via Vevo for her upcoming album Right Hare, Right Now on August 21st. The song that seems to have everyone’s toes tapping is “Boyz In The Hood”. The Arizona native sings a good girls classic about how “all the girls like the boyz in the hood”. The song has a western twang over a dramatic piano staged instrumental as Jordin demonstrates her growth with Urban music. Listen to Jordin’s late summer smash below:

Former American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks unleashes a sensual side and experimental sound you might not be used to with the ultra grown ’n sexy, “Right Here Right Now.” The last time we heard from Jordin, she was rockin’ in out with 2 Chainz in “Double Tab“. However, this time Jordin shows a more mature side and takes it to the desert for a Mid-East aesthetic, complete with palm leaves, belly dancing and all. The track itself was produced by Salaam Remi and L.A. Leakers and can be found on her third studio album, Right Here Right Now.
