A$AP Ferg is not playing games when it comes to the press run for his upcoming album, Always Strive And Prosper. Just yesterday, the rapper drop the album artwork and teaser for “Let It Bang” featuring the Schoolboy Q. Later, the Harlem native stopped by Power 106 in L.A. to promote his forthcoming album and got a chance to freestyle over Wu-Tang’s “Triumph” and Jadakiss’ “Put Ya Hands Up” instrumentals.

In his three minute freestyle, the Trap Lord spit about his Adidas deal, latest single ” New Level” and even paid homage to Biggie with these bars:

“Dreams of fucking an R&B bitch and I ain’t start picking yet/First I’ma go after Madonna/Because I know she like Rihanna/Then we can go to Tijuanna/Puff marijuana/Fuck in the back of a cabana

Always Strive And Prosper will be available for pre-order this and officially drops 4/22. In the meantime, watch A$AP Ferg remind us why he’s a force to be reckoned with during his freestyle below:

Just yesterday, Harlem’s very own A$AP Ferg hit us with the artwork for his forthcoming album, Always Strive And Prosper. Today, the Trap Lord took to his Instagram to announce that the highly anticipated album will be available on April 22nd! The short video not only releases the date but teases a collaboration between Ferg and Schoolboy Q called ‘Let it Bang’!

Always Strive And Prosper will be available for pre-order 3/25 through iTunes.

]]> A$AP Ferg Shares The Album Art For 'Always Strive And Prosper'

In an interview with Complex, A$AP Ferg revealed that his album,  Always Strive And Prosper, will be out in “the next couple of weeks.” His sophomore album follows up his 2013 release of Trap Lord, which initially was supposed to be a solo Ferg tape, but ended up being powerful enough to be released as an album.

Today, Ferg revealed the album art for Always Strive And Prosper. The artwork comes from New York based photographer, Renell Medrano. The artwork is simplistic, yet captivates what Ferg is working on. Going off the theme to what was displayed in his “New Level” music video, Ferg knows the direction he’s looking to head in.

As we get closer and closer to receiving Ferg’s new album, things get interesting as we wait in anticipation. Future, Missy Elliot, Chris Brown, Chuck D, and possibly even Taylor Swift will be featured on the album. Checkout A$AP Ferg’s album artwork for Always Strive And Prosper.

]]>  It wasn’t too long ago when we were just discussing one of hip-hop’s all around creative artists, “Traplord” A$ap Ferg. Recently Ferg got to chop it up with Hot 97’s Nessa Nitty about A$AP Yams, his take on rap controversy, his personal life, and an upcoming album he’s not releasing a date on just yet (but due “very soon”).  According to Ferg, the album that will be entitled Always Strive and Prosper took almost a year and a half  to put together and includes a crazy list of ridiculous collaborations. The album will include not only production of Dj Mustard but will also include artists from Chris Brown and Future to the very innovative Missy Elliot and the legendary Chuck D. Although the album is what we are all excited about, Ferg also gave out a couple deets on who he might be collaborating with pretty soon (but didn’t make it to the album) and  how he met up with the iconic Madonna. All around it’s dope to see the “Hood Pope” be passionate about what’s to come from himself and still be motivated to be great.
