Pumas and Alexander McQueen?

Probably one of the most mentioned fashion designers in the rap game and music industry period and one of the best sneaker comebacks recently just meshed together. Yes, I am talking about Alexander McQueen and Pumas of course (just in case you hadn’t read and soaked in the headline yet). According to Sneaker News the classic Puma Disc Blaze got a 360 makeover by the highly praised designer and it looks nothing short of amazing. There is clearly some new touches to the sneaker but of course it hasn’t shyed away from it’s roots, keeping the Trinomic cushioned base. The new edition of this classic Puma is set to be presented in two colorways of grey/blue/red/yellow and all-black with orange accents and holographic heel detailing(which you see above of course) . This Alexander McQueen x Puma Disc Blaze is currently being distributed as we speak amongst the global retailers of Puma.

Video: Beyoncé “A Spring Afternoon in Paris”

Queen Bey has always been recognized for her graceful motion and her fierce modeling shots. Well, in this video you can get a bit of both (Check out the crazy shoes at 1:25!). It’s not a music video; it’s a modeling video.

Parisian photographer Greg Gex got these shots of Beyoncé in attire from work on her latest album, 4. The pictures were taken on the roof of the Le Meurice hotel and will be in the cover booklet for the CD.

In keeping with an “all things Beyoncé” theme, the video features the first single off the album: “1+1.”

The boots and corset are both from Alexander McQueen.

Here we have Bey wearing a pink, jeweled bodysuit with a matching crown, all by The Blonds.

Alexander McQueen 2011 Fall/Winter Skull T-Shirt Collection

The Alexander McQueen label is back with another skull-and-bones inspired collection. The 2011 Fall/Winter T-Shirt Collection are simple, featuring large skulls on the front, composed of smaller intricate designs — crests, military regalia and laurels.

After the jump, more details and a closer look at their latest offering.

The third shirt below is particularly stimulating. By covering the entire shirt with designs, the label created a masterpiece that looks more like a painting than a t-shirt, and it leaves you searching for the skull in a dark, twisted version of “where’s waldo?”

These are definitely intriguing, to say the least. Snag one for yourself at oki-ni. The prices range from approximately $190 to $450.

The Rug Company + Alexander McQueen

Case in point: the collaboration between Alexander McQueen and The Rug Company on a capsule collection. The collection consists of carpets and cushions that come in 4 designs and are now available at The Rug Company retailers around the globe.
