Everyone needs a creative outlet, whether it is writing, music, art or all of the above; especially the youth, who are seemingly more impressionable nowadays, than ever before and as a result, they are often subjected to getting mixed up with the wrong crowds.

Teaming up with digital publicist, Kisha Scott and the Game Media imprint, as well as the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center located in Los Angeles, California, we at RESPECT. Magazine are happy to help spread the word about a program that is currently underway and aimed at donating art supplies for visual arts students.

Whether you have colored pencils, paint, paintbrushes, canvases, or any other items that would be conducive to the creation of visual arts, feel free to donate to the address that is listed on the above flyer. Even if you aren’t a Los Angeles resident, you can still donate.

Not only are you supporting a very good cause, but you are also facilitating the dreams and aspirations of many young artists who are looking to bring their visions to life, given the proper resources to do so.

About the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center: The Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center is a youth center and after-school program named after their founder’s son, who was killed in a drive-by shooting. The Wooten Center provides a safe and nurturing environment where boys and girls ages 8 to 18 can participate in academic enrichment programs and recreational activities, exploring a world of opportunities. From college prep, to music and art, children have access to learn it all.
