Streetwear brand Milkcrate Athletics recently released their latest lookbook for our viewing pleasure. The colorful collection was modeled by some of New York’s staple young emcees, namely Bishop Nehru, Pro Era and Emilio Rojas.

Accompanying the lookbook is a star-studded mixtape featuring Bun B, Schoolboy Q, Swizz Beatz, Bishop Nehru and more. Listen to the mixtape and check out some the collection below.

MilkCrate Athletics Fall 2012 Release

MilkCrate Athletics is Baltimore‘s first original street wear brand, and consequently a powerhouse name in the urban fashion sphere. In less modest terms, Milkcrate is one of the most consistent brands in street wear. This past week, they’ve managed to impress street wear fiends yet again, with the launch of their fall 2012 clothing line. If you happen to be a fan of tie die color-ways, red white and blue, or a hodgepodge of Akira Toriyama inspired dragons, then designer Aaron LaCrate has definitely got you covered. The new line most notably features camp hats donning fresh American graphics, fresh cut button-ups covered in a collage of recurrent dragon imagery, and the classic LaCrate tie dye pullovers.

What makes this release unique, is that LaCrate has gone the extra mile to include a mixtape and music video drop alongside the fall clothing release. Not to mention, the numerous release parties featuring Bun B, ASAP Mob, Raekwon, and designer DJ Aaron LaCrate that have been going down to celebrate.

Milkcrate’s Summer Line x New Mixtape

Milkcrate NYC has just unveiled their new threads for the summer. Along with the gear, they’ve treated us to a new collab mixtape with LA’s XLarge clothing company. The tape, mixed by DJ and Milkcrate designer Aaron LaCrate, features some legendary New York tunes and classic West Coast records.

Aaron LaCrate x Mobb Deep Collab on T-Shirt, Song

Aaron LaCrate releases a audio/visual collab with Mobb Deep celebrating 14 years of Milkcrate’s streetwear career. The NYC-based company’s first famous shirt was ILLSON, and was rocked by the likes of Eminem and Jay-Z back in the ’90s. New Kicks: Aaron Lacrate x Nike Air Force 1 High Bespoke “Blue Collar”

DJ/producer Aaron Lacrate designs a pair of Air Force 1s for Nike, inspired by his working class upbringing in Baltimore. The kicks are blue collar ballin’, featuring blue velcro, a light-grey upper, and a red swoosh in classic Americana style. Extra cool is the milk crate hang tag:

A Godly Collaboration | Rakim x Janette Beckman x Dr Jays + Milkcrate

And they’ll all be in the house at Love in NYC tomorrow night to celebrate the release of the shirt featuring the photo of the guy with the truck jewelry designed by Aaron LaCrate being sold by DrJays.com.

And when we say they’ll all be in the house, we mean that Beckman will be taking part in a discussion moderated by LaCrate and Rakim will be performing live but DrJays.com will most likely not be there, because we’re pretty sure DrJays.com is not a person. Luckily DJ Clark Kent will be there. And we’re willing to bet good money that Clark Kent is a better party DJ than DrJays.com. Because DrJays.com is not a person.
