]]> Wake Up RemixKiwi soul singer Aaradhna has linked up with Common for a sprightly remix to her 2012 song, “Wake Up.” Common‘s verse feels slightly appendaged on, but its placement at the beginning of the song gives the track a narrative that it didn’t quite have before, so all is well in the end. Listen below. On the spectrum of things that will definitely get you out of bed, this song lies somewhere between an alarm clock and a dog that really needs to go outside to pee. 

The video for the original version is provided below. It’s pretty unique: it features various objects “coming to life” and Aaradhna even does the stanky leg for some reason. Enjoy.
