Etched in the heart of down south hip hop is 704.

His influences vary from the soulful vibe of west coast rap to hard hitting east coast hip hop, but you’ll have to travel down south to find him. You’ll discover him deep in the mix and on a mission to add his name to a particularly significant list of classics: Outkast, Goodie Mob, UGK and 8 Ball & MJG, Big Krit , T.I and many more!

Born in Charlotte, NC, 704 is truly a home grown act. The Queen City has served as not only the canvas, but the inspiration for much of his music. And as he’s worked to build his name in hip hop, he has stayed true to task; one requiring him to authentically share his story while emphatically representing Charlotte’s bubbling hip hop scene.

After amassing a series of mixtapes between 2010-2015 with several mainstreamDJ’s, he launched his own record label, Fenced In Ent and No Co-sign Records. 704 subsequently began working on his mixtape “Heart of the City” with features from several artists including,YG, Nipsey Hustle, Big Krit and Verse Simmonds. In 2016 he released a hit single “Side Chick” featuring JayWaySosa. With a laid back style and a catchy chorus, “Side Chick” became an instant hit for DJ’s and airways across the nation. Still gaining momentum, “Side Chick” has won over the new age generation of hip-hop listeners worldwide. This hit single will definitely continue to grow and listeners will be eager to see what’s next to come from 704.

Just last month,  we introduced you all to Charlotte’s DJ Pauly Guwop with multiple works between Banco Extraordinaire (Sir Michael Rocks Greatest Hits Mix) to introducing fellow artist Lui Ron and more. Now he’s back with another great start for this month and he’s doing it by bringing us another artist who goes by the name of Nahom. The Charlotte artist recently dropped a new single for the strip joints and hot kickbacks entitled “Stick Motion”. Just a little over a week ago, we introduced the “Banco Extraordnaire (Sir Michael Rocks’ Greatest Hits)” mix by the very special DJ Pauly Guwop but now he’s introducing a new artist to the game. The new artist goes by the name of Lui Ron and he’s bringing his own specialty to the table from the  704. The Charlotte,NC artist has built up recognition through his single “Work For Me” and is now back with a new release entitled “Location Hue” produced by Chris Roca . In addition to the dope outro, if you have weed to smoke, have Henny to drink, or like your Sprite pink, this song might need to be your next destination. Just last September Rocks as in Sir Michael Rocks released  Populair in addition to his single “Pull Up” going viral.
