The Weeknd performed his song “Earned It” last night on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in promotion for the release of 50 Shades of Grey, out today. “Earned It” is one of two singles from the film’s soundtrack, boasting a number of high-profile artists like Beyonce, Sia, and Annie Lennox.

Though the sultry appeal of the film itself is up left up your own judgment, this track is certainly steamy and encapsulates much of what this crooner is known for: heart-wrenching ballads with a mesmerizing stage presence to match.
