As former frontman of iAm1, Origin gained a lot of underground fans on the strength of his production handiwork. But it might not be much longer before the MC/producer translates that hype into mainstream success with the release of his debut EP, Mathematics. Included on the project is standout track, “4,” which finds him delivering some thoughtful lyrics while showcasing his poise and love for actress Natalie Portman:“woman of my dreams, dancing in nightmares, she’s always on point.” Like what you’re hearing? Beyoncé sure knows how to hide a baby bump. Who says you can’t wear swimsuits when you’re pregnant? In the latest single off 4, she invites Solange, Kelly Rowland and featured guest J.Cole over for a major celebration. Looks fun. (This weekend couldn’t come any sooner)  We still don’t know the reason why Andre 3000 decided to skip the visual, but Cole’s verse is a nice replacement.

Tonight is Beyoncé’s last “Intimate Nights” show at Roseland Ballroom, but we’re just now getting the first of several “behind-the-scenes” videos of the event. The video is narrated by the show’s crew, all praising Bey and commenting on the CD.

To me, the biggest shocker from this video was the revelation that the show’s first night sold out in 22 seconds. That is incredible.

Queen Bey has always been recognized for her graceful motion and her fierce modeling shots. Well, in this video you can get a bit of both (Check out the crazy shoes at 1:25!). It’s not a music video; it’s a modeling video.

Parisian photographer Greg Gex got these shots of Beyoncé in attire from work on her latest album, 4. The pictures were taken on the roof of the Le Meurice hotel and will be in the cover booklet for the CD.

In keeping with an “all things Beyoncé” theme, the video features the first single off the album: “1+1.”

Despite being leaked online a month early, Beyonce‘s 4 is already breaking records.

According to Billboard, “It’s the diva’s fourth solo No. 1 — and fourth studio set to top the list. She’s only the third act — and second woman — to see their first four studio albums debut atop the Billboard 200. Britney Spears did it with her first four between 1999 and 2003 while DMX’s first five all started at No. 1 between 1998 and 2003.”

Interesting start to a documentary, Mrs. Knowles-Carter. Beyoncé‘s 20-minute documentary, “Year of 4,” aired for the first time on Vh1, MTV and BET on Thursday, but it probably won’t be the last time. The short film documents Beyoncé’s life over the past year as she worked on her newly released album, 4.

Even with fans flocking around her constantly, Beyoncé always seems so calm and collected in the limelight. In this movie, we finally get to see Beyoncé behind-the-scenes. She talks about recovering from her last tour, finding the inspiration for her next album, and gathering the strength to jump back onto the stage.
