Back in 2013, Jet Life Recordings artist Young Roddy released the small screen interruption for his standout Good Sense 2 cut “504 Radio.” The video not only helped introduce the world to the lyrical femme fatale we now know as 3D Na’Tee but secured a positive rapport between the fellow New Orleans emcees.

Fast forward two years, a thriving fan base and a record deal later the All Def Digital/Universal signee returns the gesture of good faith with the release of her brand new Quincy Scott directed visual for “Think They Know,” produced By MH Bishop.

On 3D’s YouTube channel (under the video’s description,) she shares: “Everyday, millions of Americans wake up and chase the “American Dream.” In the context of this video, I play a character who’s idea of the “American Dream” means having a job ran by my dictator of a boss, a relationship, and being satisfied with the mundane routine of maintaining them both. However, my lack of faith in the possibility that I’ll ever make it out of my poverty stricken neighborhood and my impatience lead me to take matters into my own hands.”

With recent events of racial injustice being highlighted in the media, many artists have begun to use their voice for social change once again. All Def Digital’s 3D Na’Tee is one of those artists. With her new visual “Who Can We Run To”, 3D Na’Tee displays powerful imagery that highlights America’s history of racism and police brutality. Aside from the realer than real imagery, 3D Na’Tee also paints vivid pictures with her words, giving us a history lesson unlike those taught in textbooks.

The Jet Lifer, Young Roddy, kept it all the way hood in the latest video from his last mixtape Good Sense 2. The visuals were shot in New Orleans, which only makes sense considering the song’s title: “504 Radio.” Look out for more from Roddy and Jet Life in the near future, because, as Curren$y always says, it’s the “never die” corporation.
