The biggest question when talking about this group is: “What will Migos do next?” In anticipation of their new album Culture– featuring Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz DJ Khaled and Lil Uzi Vert– Migos have been on a rampage and are doing so much already in the first month of 2017,  but who would of thought the trio who first brought us the “Versace” single would rise to the heights that they have achieved.

Along the way Migos continued to build listeners with their now infamous  NoLabel mixtape series followed by countless features and live performances, making the group a go to for 2016. Madeintyo is finally ready to unveil his new project. The “Uber Everywhere” artist shared his new track, “Thank You, Mr. Tokyo” on twitter earlier this week.

“Thank you, Mr. Tokyo” will be the private club representative’s first tape since putting out the remixed versions of singles “I Want” and “Uber Everywhere”.

This means more eyes will be on the Atlanta rapper than ever before. With this in mind, Madeintyo enlisted his go to engineers, K Swisha and Riche Souf, to produce the tape.

Swisha has been building quite a buzz for himself as well. He recently  produced the track “Chirp” for 2Chainz latest mixtape Daniel Son ; Necklace Don.

Summer of 2015, 2 Chainz blessed the streets with the dabbing anthem ‘Watch Out’ and the Atlanta native has finally given us a visual for the banger. The hilarious video showcases Chainz’s head supersized on various characters, a the pizza guy, President Obama and even the infamous ‘Why You Always Lying’ guy, turning up to the track. Highly GIF influenced, I’m sure the viral culture of 2016 will appreciate it. “Watch Out” is also featured in Cam Newton’s — who is also an Atlanta native– BeatsByDre spot, so hopefully, the song gets even more buzz.

He currently has an upcoming collab project with Lil Wayne ColleGrove, hinted new music on IG that he possibly may drop next week and is on his Watch Out tour, which comes to a close in February.

Atlanta native 2 Chainz hasn’t released an album since  “Based on a T.R.U. Story II: Me Time“, but that doesn’t mean that the Atlanta rep and G.O.O.D. Music affiliate hasn’t been working. Whether it’s 2014’s “Freebase” mixtape or re-make of Michael Jackson‘s “Thriller” .

Last year, Chainz released his “Trap-A-Velli Tre” mixtape, led by “Watch Out,” the Fki-produced club banger that’s making serious waves, and has made an early entry on the charts, peaking thus far at #85 on the Billboard Hot 100. To help his campaign, Chainz has released a hilarious video for “Watch Out,” directed by the talented Motion Family.

Hopefully this means a more active 2016 from Chainz, who is due to release a joint project with Lil Wayne, “Holligrove”, and his third, yet-to-be-titled, LP.
