Not since Lauryn Hill have we seen an artist like Timbaland’s newest protégé, Tink. Whether it’s rapping or singing, this 20 year-old Chicago femcee can do it all, and XXL took notice, thus making her a member of this year’s freshman class. As history shows, when XXL drops that ‘Freshman’ cover, a wave of new music from the artists featured is soon to follow. The announcement of this year’s class was made yesterday (June 3rd) and already we have received heat from Shy Glizzy, OG Maco, and K. Camp to name a few.

Linking up with London’s DJ Tazer, Tink (who also made this year’s XXL cover) gives us the energetic new video for “Wet Dollars”. The Timbaland protege is slated to release her debut album, #ThinkTink, later this year.
