Remaining consistent and focused during a pandemic doesn’t seem laborious for 100GrandRoyce.  While under quarantine, the rapper remains socially distanced and delivers a solo visual for his 183rd produced single,”Pain 2 Pleasure“.  As usual, Royce doesn’t dissatisfy the listener when it comes to the rhymes, and the soulful instrumental makes this joint even more paramount.  For the enthusiast of good hip-hop music, this is unequivocally something to play at high volume for a gratifying experience.

The single comes off the recently released EP Prodigal Sun, which captured the attention of several notable editors and publications, attaining various solid reviews and opinions.  The duo is currently locked in preparing to release another merch capsule and another project shortly after.

While Gritty music is rapidly approaching the forefront of hip-hop again,  2 New Yorkers join forces to disburse a soulful 5 track project, packed with dope verses, and polished production.

100GrandRoyce provides the rhymes, while 183rd composes the most befitting instrumentals to construct ‘Prodigal Sun‘, their latest release. The verbalist states:

“This project Prodigal Sun was a natural progression from Nice Guys Finish Last, but I felt like there was a void in the “soul” department of music right now and 183rd knew exactly what I was looking for. It’s more than just money death and jail in the streets and I wanted to paint that picture.”

This isn’t the first time the two have worked together.  183rd has collaborated with 100GrandRoyce in some of his earliest projects.  It was just a matter of knowing the sound he was looking for and making the call to the producer.

Harlem’s hardcore emcee, Smoke DZA teams up with producer 183Rd to give us his ringside chronicles with another mixtape to continue his annual ringside series.

Ringside 5 features a list of wrestling greats doing promos and giving the nod to DZA and building the hype for this annual project with each promo. DZA destroys eight tracks produced by 183RD to bring us closer into his world. Joining Smoke on this exclusive project are two upcoming artists signed to Shadyville Records, Westside Gunn and Conway; keep your eyes open for those two.

This April Fool’s day marks the scheduled release date for Smoke DZA‘s newest compilation, Dream.ZONE.Achieve. Like its title, the album is structured in three acts, each with seven cuts apiece. Of the 21 songs confirmed on the album, one joint is a relic from the past–last spring’s “Ghosts of Dipset.” But this week, two new anthems have emerged on the web to get fans excited for Dream.Zone.Achieve‘s spring unveiling.
