New to our pages and known as OMGitsBeezy, Nicholas Travon Murphy, is an artist, songwriter, producer, and engineer from Raleigh, NC.

A submission I’m glad I listened to, OMGitsBeezy recently came out with a video to his catchy single, “Back End”. Born into a musical background, Beezy has been writing, producing, and recording himself since he was twelve years-old.

In 2018, Beezy found himself as a victim in a shooting that left him paralyzed for months in 2018. Since then, Beezy has continued to show listeners that he is back on his feet by releasing content. Three months before dropping “Back End”,  Beezy released a new video titled “Karma” that was just as good.

Something I found as great marketing skills was that in both videos, OMGitsBeezy sports the same car with his name and socials stamped on the outside. While the director of “Back End” is @directedbywoosy and the director for “Karma” is @directorillyrock, the producer for “Back End” is @ayowiththemayo and @prodwoodpecker for “Karma”.

His third release of 2020, I highly recommend listening to “White Toes” by JuS BeatZ right after reading this. For those who don’t know much about JuS BeatZ, he appeared freestyling on hot 97 with his brother, Jovee Benjaminz, back in April of 2018. Watch the video here.

The LA based, East Coast rapper has always been in his own lane. The follow up from his last single “Shorty Live”, “White Toes” is a melodic tune for the ladies. Similarly, his cover art, done by @alannacartertattoo, fits the picture perfect.

Before the official release, JuS BeatZ took to his Instagram to post a snippet made by OpeVisualz, his creative director. In addition, JuS BeatZ is said to be working exclusively with OpeVisualz of Final Focus Films to create much more content.

Having already opened up for some of my favorite artists like Khalid and PNB Rock, JuS is an artist right up their alley.

From Los Angeles, California, Pure Luxury is dominating the LA scene with a year of viral singles under his belt. Having spent time on tour with YG on his Stay Dangerous Tour, Pure Luxury has also performed at festivals like Day In Vegas. His tract record goes all the way back to playing at venues like the House of Blues at just the age of 12.

In 2019 however, Pure Luxury released a full length project titled the pLAybook. A total of 13-tracks, Lux put his versatility on display.

Now in 2020, his newest video is filmed to “Run It Up”, the eighth single off his 2019 album. Inspired by scenes from The Wolf of Wall Street, the video is entertaining and fun to watch.

Back on our pages, Chicago artist Skyszn returns with another hit single titled “Angels”.

Produced by Bruus, this is Sky’s second release of the year. He dropped this piece via SoundCloud on 4/20, making it just in time for his listeners to roll up and get high to it.

With that said, you can surely count on Skyszn to make you feel good during a pandemic. Definitely add this to your smoking playlist. Crooning, “I be getting high with the angels,” what’s not to love about this perfect scenario? Sky takes his fans on a heavenly ride, up in the sky on this release.

In regards to the making of this song, Sky states, “I had a lot of fun making this track and listening to it. This song is the mark of me falling back in love with the greatest plant in the world. And as for the angels, I always feel that I have angels all around me.”

New found talent, Kova, just released the visuals to her new single, “Stars”, featuring TheHxliday.

Coming from a small city around the Boston area, Kova spent most of her teenage years in placements and juvenile facilities. After losing her mother a couple summers ago, Kova knew she needed more than the streets and cold weather. That is why she relocated to Los Angeles to fully pursue her own music career. With her first video already at 125,000 views, it’s clear she made the right decision.

Thriving to teach the world that the glass is always half full, Kova is honest with her fans, allowing herself to show many emotions in her music. In collaboration with upcoming artist, TheHxliday, watch her second video ever to “Stars” below.

A submission I found worth sharing, get to know Hip Hop/R&B singer and songwriter, Sharveal Johnson. Also known as Chevy J, the Chicago artist just dropped a single titled “Billion”. Produced by DJ Goose, the whole movement behind this drop shows potential. 

While not only remaining an independent artist, Sharveal also has his own independent label, Phresh N’ Blessed Records and clothing line, PNB Clothing.  He continues to build his brand as he just recently created a live band named, Sharveal & The R&B Gang that has already landed a residency in Las Vegas at Billion Schmidt Studios on Friday nights.

New to my radar, 25-year-old artist from Boston, Massachusetts, glvsshouse, let go of two new singles the other day.

After starting his musical career in 2010, fronting a punk-rock band and touring New England, glvsshouse has since moved to Los Angeles, decided to start from scratch, and create a sound for himself. 

These new singles are just the beginning of glvsshouse’s story. They show how much he has come thus far. The first single is titled, “Games”, and is produced by Antonio based singer/songwriter, Julian Skiboat. Dedicating this acoustic ballad to anyone who has been left on read, glvsshouse has stated word for word in an instagram post, “if she leaves you on read during the quarantine you really ain’t the one”. The second single is titled “Again” and you can listen to both tracks here or down below.
