Samaria is one of R&B’s most thrilling storytellers on the rise. The Bay Area singer uses vulnerability as a superpower that fuels her intimate songwriting. Today, she shares her new single “Still Got 4ever” which showcases her lush vocals as she bares her soul while going through the motions of a fizzled-out relationship. Produced by Neenyo, Keanu Beats and Colby Toral, listen to “Still Got 4ever” HERE.
Speaking on her new release, Samaria shares:
When I wrote “Still got 4ever,” I was in a confusing place in my relationship. This was the person I had the deepest feelings for and I wrote this as a way to let them know that we still got forever to figure things out. Being in that relationship taught me that if I loved someone I should be able to set my pride and ego aside to make things work.
Last month, Samaria released a special cover of “Somebody Else,” a classic synth-pop love song by The 1975. Samaria re-imagined the hit and offered a modern R&B twist, launching the song into a new time and space.
