Romeo Santos Celebrates The Achievements Of His New Album ‘Formula Vol. 3’

After remaining on Billboard’s “Tropical Airplay” chart for 10 weeks and holding the No. 1 spot on the “Latin Airplay” chart for three weeks with “Sus Huellas,” singer-songwriter and global superstar Romeo Santos debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s “Top Album Debut Global” and “Top Album Debut USA” and Billboard’s “Tropical Albums” charts with Fórmula Vol. 3.

Similarly, his single “Sin Fin” with Justin Timberlake debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s “Latin Airplay” and “Tropical Airplay” charts and No. 4 on Spotify’s “Top Songs Debut USA.” Marking his twenty second No. 1 on “Latin Airplay” and seventeenth No. 1 on “Tropical Airplay.” “Sin Fin,” “El Pañuelo,” “Bebo” and “Me Extraño” all debuted on Billboard’s “Hot Latin Songs” chart. “El Pañuelo” ranked in the Top 10 of the “Top 25: NYC Apple Music” and debuted at No. 6 on Spotify’s “Top Songs Debut USA.”

Additionally, just a week after its release, his singles “Sin Fin” with Justin Timberlake, “El Pañuelo” with Rosalía and “Me Extraño” with Christian Nodal trended globally on YouTube. These achievements come after the grand celebration of his new album at the iconic Versace Mansion in Miami, packed with friends, media and celebrity guests, the party welcomed the King of Bachata and his new musical project Fórmula Vol. 3.

The singer-songwriter was also honored by Afo Verde, Chairman & CEO, Sony Music Latin- Iberia and Alex Gallardo, president, Sony Music US Latin for the double platinum certification for the first single of Fórmula Vol. 3, “Sus Huellas,” and RIAA certifications for Fórmula Vol. 1 15 x Platinum and 27x Platinum for Fórmula Vol. 2, making his album Fórmula Vol. 2 the album by a Latin male artist with the most certifications.

The new album comes at an exciting time for Santos, who was recently featured on the cover of Billboard and will participate in Billboard’s Latin Music Week in Miami later this month. Romeo was featured in Rolling Stone’s “Hot Issue” last July, and earlier this summer, he took over Rockefeller Plaza for the TODAY Show’s CITI Summer Concert Series.
