Lil Migo, the rawest emerging voice of Memphis’ burgeoning hip-hop scene, whose landmark tracks “No Love In My Heart” and “Letter 2 The Industry” have earned over 25 million combined YouTube views, unleashes KING OF THE TRAP 2 DELUXE, available today via Heavy Camp | 4TH & BROADWAY | Def Jam Recordings. Migo also unveils the video for “Cheated” today, following the release of the single in June.
KING OF THE TRAP 2 DELUXE is the follow-up to Migo’s breakthrough of last year, King Of the Trap 2 (November 2021). The saga began with the arrival of the first King Of the Trap in early 2021. Packed with features by Moneybagg Yo, Rich The Kid, Yo Gotti, Big 30, 42 Dugg, and fellow Memphis native Blac Youngsta, the mixtape quickly piled up over 5 million streams.
Seizing the moment, Lil Migo came back strong in November with King Of the Trap 2, a 15-track collection of all new material with guests Blac Youngsta, Quavo (“Migo Shit”), Duke Deuce, Lil Jairmy, Fresco Trey (“We Ball”), and OJ da Juiceman. The project’s centerpiece, “Rumors 3” was the sequel to “Rumors” and “Rumors 2,” based on a true story. “In Memphis,” Lil Migo said, “you are going to learn fast streetwise and the proper way to move. If you make it in Memphis, you can make it anywhere. You learn how to move in life.”
