Facebook and Religion of Sports released episode 6, the penultimate episode of Simone vs Herself – the Facebook Watch Original docu-series which provides a unique look into the life of four-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles. The final episode will air tomorrow at 12 p.m. ET.
This first part of the two-part finale picks up where the series left off in June, as Biles takes on the U.S. Olympic Trials and prepares for the Olympic Games. In this episode, fans are given an emotional, behind-the-scenes look at Simone’s mental state in a heart-breaking video recorded in Tokyo while battling the “twisties.” Then, viewers are taken back in time to the Olympic Trials as Simone and the rest of “The Fighting Four” are selected for the U.S. Olympic team – we’re given an inside look at the expectations and pressures these women faced as they headed off to Tokyo.
