Maeta’s rocket-fueled rise continues as she joins H.E.R.’s Back Of My Mind Tour. Maeta will join the October leg of the run with her first performance set for October 10th in Franklin, TN with additional stops in Philadelphia, DC, Chicago, Detroit and more (complete schedule below). Tickets are available now HERE.
Set to perform songs from her critically acclaimed EP Habits, music fans across the country will have a chance to hear what critics and celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Demi Lovato have already discovered: “Maeta’s star quality is glaringly apparent” (Dancing Astronaut). Us Weekly also confirmed her “sultry vocals pair perfectly with hip hop beats on singles like “Teen Scene” and “Bitch Don’t Be Mad”.
Maeta most recently made her festival circuit debut over Labor Day weekend after performing at Made In America to enthusiastic crowds. Other confirmed festival appearances this fall include:
- Lights On Festival – Concord, CA – September 18-19, 2021 – Tickets HERE
- One Music Fest – Atlanta, GA – October 9-10, 2021 – Tickets HERE
Since taking the leap and moving to L.A. from Indianapolis in 2019, Maeta has come out of the gate generating buzz and racking up Spotify plays with the first two singles from Habits thanks to collaborations with GRAMMY-winning power players like Kaytranada and Skrillex. The Kaytranada upbeat banger “Teen Scene,” has already reached close to 6 million streams on Spotify.
Top critics have praised Maeta, with Billboard complimenting her “ethereal vocals” and naming Habits a “Fresh Pick of the Week”. Schön! confirmed, “Maeta’s voice is saccharine and silky capturing the warm heartiness that makes R&B female voices so memorable.” Teen Vogue highlighted her “self-assured vocals” on “Toxic, ” and Okayplayer and Highsnobiety named the song and video as some of the best music of the week upon its release. Soul Bounce said of the EP, “Each cut is intelligently written and gets to matters of the heart that a young woman her age might be experiencing. And though very much of the moment, these songs paired with her wispy, crystalline vocals and precise production make this EP a possible herald of a star ready to rise.”
