Foot Locker, Inc. and Nike continue to celebrate community with the unveil of Nike’s “That’s How We Roll’ collection. Available in women sizes and exclusively at Foot Locker, Champs Sports, Footaction and Foot Locker Canada this Saturday, September 18th, the launch comes on the heels of the Peace, Love, Swoosh launch, which is currently available at each retailer location.
The “That’s How We Roll” collection speaks to sharing knowledge and positive vibes as well as promoting confidence, unity and self-expression for women everywhere. The resurgence of roller skating, dance and skateboarding has encouraged new sisterhoods formed by sharing care-free aspects of sport and movement. Growing, learning, falling down and getting back-up together is at the forefront of this collection. The desire to foster community and hobbies to reassess the new meaning of sport for women around the world is what makes this unique.
With this collection, a sister/sister interlocking skate wheel charm that can be shared with a friend has been added to two of Nike’s beloved signature sneakers, the Air Force 1 Shadow and Air Max 97. Each pair features monochromatic colors with hints of warm reds and tangerine brights, reminiscent of sunset skate adventures with your crew. The materials leverage iconic elements of 70’s skate culture, such as metal eyelets, debossed suede, tumbled leather, popped laces and iced outsoles that are a nod to translucent wheels.
