Sneaker brand, Saucony, recently collaborated with premium German online retailer for sneaker, streetwear & techwear, Acribik, to create the bold Acribik x Saucony Azura ST “Tech Noir”, which launches globally on June 26th.
The Acribik x Saucony Azura marks the first ever collaboration between the two brands, resulting in a sneaker that’s fun, bright, and the perfect shoe for summer nights out on the town. Inspired by synthie sounds, laser rays, hot nights, and neon lights, the “Tech Noir” sneaker is a fresh new makeup of Saucony’s classic Azura style. The Acribik x Saucony Azura features a unique and bold black, white, hot pink, and blue colorway along with retrowave aesthetics, giving the sneaker the same pulsating vibe and feeling of 80s music, movies, and TV shows as well as the dynamic club scene.
To help tell the full story, Saucony and Acribik tapped artist and 80s expert, Big Mike Colonia, to be the face of the sneaker, while photographer, Mario Stumpf, captured the atmosphere of the vibrant era in his photos and video. Berlin-based DJ duo, Andhim, even created a brand new and exclusive track for the release, which you can listen to HERE.
