Atlanta artist Lil Gotit, is here to stay. His unapologetic nature, humor, and candid confidence are at the center of the upcoming Top Chef Gotit, a project executive-produced by Gunna, and featuring fellow ATL heavy hitters like Young Thug. Gotit has been teasing the Top Chef Gotit era, with releases for “Toosie,” “Wok,” “Burnt N Turnt” ft. NAV, and “Work Out” ft. Gunna, the “Toosie” video directed by and featuring an appearance from Gunna as well. Needless to say, it’s an exciting time for the trapper, as Top Chef Gotit serves as his initiation into the upper-echelon of Atlanta rap. You can guarantee he’ll still find ways to keep us guessing though. Lil Gotit is effortlessly inventive, cooking up new flows and molding them into infectiously melodic trap jams. T
He connected with Gunna for “Work Out,” an amped-up new banger from Gotit‘s Top Chef Gotit project out now. Produced by DMC Global and Evrgrn, “Work Out” gets its power from Gotit‘s hyperactive flows, as he works his higher register to talk about his flawless diamonds and bottomless arsenal. The executive producer of Gotit‘s upcoming project, Gunna is the calm counterpoint to Gotit, as he grounds the track with a fluid triplet flow. “Work Out” is Gotit‘s latest high profile collaboration, following the simmering “Burnt N Turnt” ft. NAV.
Top Chef Gotit capitalizes on the potential Gotit showed on earlier mixtapes like Hood Baby 2, the Alamo Records signee revealing his ability to create unconventional flows and organizing his outrageous boasts into effortless triplets. The upcoming project is home to recent singles like the sizzling hot “Wok” and the 69 Boyz-sampling banger “Toosie,“ and features multiple guest spots from Gunna and Gotit‘s older brother Lil Keed. Featuring additional appearances from Young Thug, and YSL signee Yak Gotti, Top Chef Gotit arrives on June 10th via Alamo Records. Since the release of last April’s Hood Baby 2, which featured guest spots from Future, Lil Yachty, and Gotit‘s brother Lil Keed, Gotit has been biding his time, cooking up heat for his fans to enjoy. With over 230 million streams in the bank, including nearly 50 million on Hood Baby 2 alone, Gotit has steadily won the respect of the biggest names in the trap scene since his 2018 debut.
