As the US Open took place in San Diego this past weekend (June 17 – June 20), Oakley stepped up to celebrate with Special Delivery, a capsule collection that honors the city’s past and present as a major military hub.
As the former headquarters of the US Pacific Fleet, San Diego signifies American Naval history, as does the specific location of the tournament, Torrey Pines, which was formerly Camp Callan.
Oakley’s Special Delivery collection features a print inspired by Naval camouflage and optical technology, as well as an 18-star logo that signifies 18 battle stars for the 18-hole course. The range includes a hat, pullover, vest, polo, crewneck and pants.
Team Oakley’s Patrick Rodgers was seen on the course wearing the collection in the image above, which can now be found at select retailers.
