Today, in support of the all new Reebok Question Mid I3 Motorsports sneaker, the brand, alongside basketball and style icon, Allen Iverson, is launching “Reebok Customs,” an open call to creatives nationwide to show off their skills for the chance to design their very own bike inspired by Allen Iverson’s legacy.
Now thru April 15, fans can visit Reebok.com and Reebok’s official Instagram handle to download a template, design their dream bike and send it back to us for consideration. Beginning April 16, twenty-five (25) design submissions will be selected to receive a pair of Question Mid I3 Motorsport kicks, while the top eight of those designs will be featured on Reebok’s social channels. Of those eight winning submissions, one grand prize winner’s dream will become reality as Reebok will create a motorbike inspired by their personal design (valued up to $12,000).
To bring the campaign to life, Reebok worked with brand partners Martine Ali, Gianni Lee, Doreen Garner, Jimmy Gorecki and Kellen Hatanaka to create a lookbook of designs to inspire and invite consumers to show off their creativity.
Reebok’s Question Mid “I3 Motorsports” explores Allen Iverson’s well-known love for jewelry and the role that style and customization play in bike life and basketball. The latest model within the “I3 Motorsports” catalogue, this Question Mid presents a material execution inspired by ATV’s and dirt bikes known for their high-contrast matte and gloss detailing with a retro full-grain black leather upper seated atop a shimmering silver outsole, midsole and all-around randing. It’s a perfect cross-cultural embodiment of streetwear, motorsports and basketball for the OG and today’s rising baller looking to carve their own path.
The Question Mid “I3 Motorsports” (GX7925, $140) is available globally, in full-family sizing, beginning April 9 from Reebok.com and select local retailers.
