Diadora and Foot Locker have teamed up with LA-based designer Toreno Winn on two exclusive sneakers that launch on Thursday, April 15. Toreno is a trailblazing stylist, designer and creative director, known for his collaborations with public figures across entertainment and sports, including Migos, N.E.R.D, Dani
For his first-ever shoe release with Foot Locker and Diadora, Toreno infused his close connection to Japanese and anime culture into creating two versions of the Diadora MAVERICK and N9002 men’s shoe. The Japanese raw denim represents his fashion sense growing up. While the Cherry Blossoms represent the famous phrase “Life is Short,” as Cherry Blossoms have the shortest life span of all flowers, Toreno also wants this design to be a nod to the importance of celebrating life and paying homage to heroic creatives while they are still here to receive their flowers.
- The Grey/Pink MAVERICK N9002 will be available for $150.00 in men’s sizes 8-12
- The Black/Pink MAVERICK N9002 will be available for $175.00 in men’s sizes 8-12
Both pairs will be available exclusively at Footlocker.com and at the Melrose Foot Locker located at 7726 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046.
