The seven-track project sees these three powerhouses light up the West Coast and ignite a new era of California hip-hop in the process. On the first track “OP Vibes,” the YG & D3 tear through anxious 808s with tenacious bars and an ominous refrain. Bass-y piano bolts down D3’s bullet-riddled “Yellow Tape” [feat. DDG] before another hard-hitting hook, while airy guitar wraps around “Roxanne.” Everything culminates on the punchy anthem “My Bruddas” where D3 and YG link with Tay2Xs for one last slick salvo.
4Hunnid recently paved the way for the Gang Affiliated EP with the bilingual banger “Bailar” by YG and Day Sulan. Inciting critical applause, UPROXX wrote, “Here YG and Sulan show their growing chemistry over the song’s Latin-influenced production,” and L.A. Weekly described Day Sulan as “absolutely on the rise.” Meanwhile, Brooklyn Vegan praised how “Day Sulan bounces between English and Spanish on this catchy new collab with her 4Hunnid label boss.” The music video has amassed 529K YouTube Views, while the song racked up 665K Spotify streams. The project also boasts “Hit Em Up,” which is approaching 3 million streams.
