For over a decade, The Roots have hosted one of the most anticipated and dynamic pre-GRAMMY events in LA. Every year, music’s best and brightest – newcomers and icons alike – pop-up unannounced to jam with the band and treat their audience to intimate, one-of-a-kind performances. The showcases have brought some of the biggest names in music to the audience. Given the unique circumstances of the past year, the 2021 event will be presented in a virtual format, to air on the night before the GRAMMY Awards on March 13. Produced by Live Nation Urban, ESM Productions, and Tina Farris, this year The Rootswill perform with some of the best young voices in music.
To prep for the crew’s session, fans can enjoy The Roots Essentials Playlist on TIDAL. The Roots Jam Session adds to the growing list of exclusive content and unique experiences available for music fans at-large. The video further solidifies the platform’s commitment to elevating the connection between artists and their fans by providing fresh avenues for music and entertainment.
